Jane is a writer and a painter. She writes about the art of self-care and being mindful of the power that we possess to help ourselves. She has a great story about where the name, Teeny Tiny Pieces, came from.
In her blog posts, her words create worlds that we readers can enter into and journey through; there is something magical and whimsical about her although she’s also grounded and strong. I hope everyone finds the greatness of her writing.
It is an honor to receive this award from such a beautiful and inspiring writer and blogger, thank you Jane!
Part of receiving the award is to share 7 things about me that my readers don’t know. This was a bit of a challenge, because I feel I say a little bit about everything and I wanted to choose some things that I have never mentioned.
7 things you don’t know about me
1. I raised $30,000 for my favorite non-profit organization by creating and performing a one-woman show and donating all the proceeds. It took 18 kaizen months to put it together.
2. My favorite animal is the elephant. They captivate and amaze me …so giant and yet so gentle, with beautiful ears that are remind me of a fairy’s wings.
3. I love red fluffy pillows so much that I have a pillow sanctuary.
4. When I was a teenager, I worked as a janitor for a local newspaper. I loved cleaning the offices at night and singing at the top of my lungs when no one was around.
5. I rode a motorcycle for many years to overcome my fears.
6. My first performance was at age five. I played the role of Mrs. Abraham Lincoln.
7. Things randomly fly out of my hands for no obvious reason. My husband thinks it’s my super power.
Another part of receiving the award is to choose up to 5 beautiful bloggers to pass on this Beautiful Blogger Award. It was a very challenging decision to choose only five when there are many, many beautiful bloggers to whom I would have liked to give the award.
I pass the Beautiful Blogger Award on to these 5 beautiful bloggers:
Angela Artemis, Powered by Intuition: Angela continuously reminds me of the importance of listening to my intuition. She has taught me how to strengthen my intuition and gain insight from my dreams. I can hear my inner-voice more clearly than ever before and I am ever grateful to her for this gift.
In-case you haven’t yet met Angela, here are a few of her wonderful posts:

Jean Berg-Sarauer, Virgin Blogger Notes – Jean inspires me to have a bit more patience in my blogging process. She’s a phenomenal writer and she shares her vast knowledge with her readers. She’s unique from other “how to blog” sites because of her humorous and inspiring style. I have too many favorite posts to mention but a few to get you started are:

… and all time favorite post from Jean is, What My Father Taught Me About Blogging
Dina, Blog.web6.org – Dina is my technology guru. I’ve written a post about her amazing tutorials and I give her information to others on forums. I loudly praise her work! Here’s another reason why Dina is amazing, if you don’t find what you’re looking for on her site you can send her an email and she’ll respond! I’ve emailed her for help on specific issues and she replies with great instructions. She even contacted me to tell me my site was down. She’s really a true gem. I hope every one subscribes to her extremely helpful site
Preeti, Happy Heart and Mind – Preeti is a smart, insightful and inspiring blogger. She’s gone from engineering to becoming a teacher, home schooling her children …and she’s a fellow Gemini! I became hooked on Happy Mind and Heart when I came across her no spend challenge. it’s a five post series and very encouraging for those who want to live with minimal spending. I love frugality and love finding people who make it a fun challenge rather than a sad deprived necessity. Another favorite read of mine is her post,What if you had a Golden Touch?
Emma, Graceful Balance – Emma shares pearls of wisdom on Graceful Balance. She now drinks water with lemon, instead of coffee and I hope to one day join her in this healthy ritual. She’s inspired me to think about eating for the seasons and giving new seasonal flair to my salads. She writes about health, balance and great living. One of the best ways to become familiar with her site is read her 7-link challenge post, it’s a nice tour through her archives and you can get to know her.
I do hope you take a moment and explore these beautiful bloggers, visit their blog sites and enjoy the gifts they share.
